No Mercy!

Worked till 9, 45 min drive home and I have to get up at 6 tomorrow to be back at work by 8. Awesome. So it looks like just a quick one and then off to bed with me. Another in my favorite 80s music soundtrack goodies, this one is inspired by miss Rachi. She reminded me of this track a while back and I'm gonna share it with the rest of you.

It comes from the soundtrack to "The Karate Kid." No, not the horrible remake that takes place in China (you realize that they practice Kung fu there, right? I digress) but the original 1984 masterpiece starring Ralph Macchio, Pat Morita and Elisabeth Shue.

That is a TERRIBLE tagline.

Of course I'm talking about the Joe Espisito song "You're The Best" used in the tournament montage from the end of the film. Just hearing it makes me want to move from New Jeresey to California, get bullied by the guy who played every bully in 80s movies, meet a pretty girl (with a seriously hot younger brother), befriend an elderly Japanese man, learn karate through varied household chores, and ultimately defeat above bully in a refereed tournament. Have a listen and download below. See if it instills the same feelings in you.

Also, there's this.

Yes, that is original movie cast members Martin Kove, William Zabka, Ralph Macchio and the Cobra Kai cronies. Also Mr. Belding?

and for those of you that haven't seen it

F*cking Hilarious!
