"Be Gentle, It's My First Time..."

Ah, gentle viewer, welcome to my very 1st blog. I'm not going to go into some long mission statement about how I want to enlighten the world to the fantastic music I listen to (which I'm sure someone, somewhere has already posted.) I'm simply going to try to put some of my thoughts and opinions on a page to share with my friends and anyone else who will listen.

The weather here in the Bay Area (that's the San Francisco Bay for those who don't actually live here) is an tricky thing. Seasons here don't blend into one another so much as switch on and off like a lightbulb. It's been rainy and cold for the past 2 months solid and then it suddenly switched to bright and sunny. I've put together a mix of music to reflect the welcomed change. These songs all reflect how I see the spring. They are green and blue and yellow. They smell sweet and clean like fresh cut grass and linen. These songs make me want to never work again, only lie in a field somewhere to absorb as much sun as my chalke white skin can handle. Alas, gentle viewer, my allergies are out of control, I burn like a mother, and there are bills to pay. At least I can put on my ipod and escape to my perfect spring from the bliss of my climate controlled bedroom. Enjoy!
