This is something I've been meaning to do for quite some time but have never felt like I had the right material for. Well, the time has come. One of my best friends put out a cover CD a couple of months ago and being the competitive prick that I am got it into my head to one up her. However, I think there's a statute of limitations on things like that. (Plus, between you and me, she did a really good job.) So this is my best effort at covers of songs I really love by artists I really love. Enjoy.

I'm getting greedy just thinking about all the downloads....lololol.
Snagged a whole bunch of em'.Great concept for a post.
hi jeff, great selection, i love hearing new things in songs. i really like the u2 cover, i guess i’m surprised that the song still has the power to move me, i wonder if everyone has some sort of history with it. 3 is pretty cool - i like it darker than beyonce did it. the radiohead cover is superb. get your freak on and ladytron make me want to dance. and i’ve got a soft spot for brit and i love what the guys in nickel creek do with their voices, i’ve never heard of them before. i like what feist does with her voice too, she’s cool. i’ve got an ID bracelet my best mate gave me years ago that says “32 flavours” on the front and “and then some” on the back. blah. i culd comment on all the tracks you posted cause it’s such great music but will spare you. i like the diversity of your ear for music. and it’s also pretty cool that you didn’t include tori amos smells like teen spirit, heh. is that your writing on the sad journal? cheers
done and done
