The fourth is one of my favorite holidays. Not because I'm some flag brandishing maniac, but because I always get to sit around the docks of my town, watch fire works from a barge on the delta and sing songs with my family. There's even a 6 part orchestral piece done in vocal harmony complete with crashing symbols! Jealous?!
Anyway, here's a little number you might have heard before, it's called the Star Spangled Banner. Ok, not the most original idea for a post on the 4th of July, but when it's performed by one Mr. Sufjan Stevens, it's
sounds completely original.
