The Long Goodbye

I feel like one of those pro ball players who comes out of retirement like 12 times. That's a thing, right? Maybe Cher being on her farewell tour for the past twenty odd year is a more appropriate analogy. Either way I feel like I wasn't fooling anybody, mister sister. So here's the deal. I had originally set out to do a Summer mixtape set. I was going to do four. Then in the process of selecting album artwork I couldn't quite bring myself to narrow my choices down below eight images I was completely in love with. I thought surely eight was too many but upon the compiling process I discovered I had more than enough great music to fill those mixes without compromising quality. After I had posted the final mix I found that I still had a grip of great tunes that I simply couldn't let sit by the wayside for yet another year. Turns out eight isn't enough. So in my free time I began composing a couple additions to the original SOS 2011 set. There really isn't much that hasn't been said about Summer and the music that inspires this season for me so I will simply say that these are songs that I absolutely love that I absolutely couldn't wait to share with you.
